Basically your house needs to be clean and insect free. Ensure there's no accumulated dirt below your bed, in the corner of your rooms etc. Keep camphor slices in the corners of your room to prevent flies and mosquitoes. Use boric powder on your doors to ward off red ants. Keep neem leaves below your bed sheet. Add soap and kerosene to hot water and spray this mix in the corners of your room or wipe the floor with the mix. Always use a covered dustbin and ensure it's cleaned everyday.
